Teachers were very busy learning today and preparing for our students to return tomorrow. The learning blueprint, trauma informed teaching, the science of learning, finalizing grades and goal setting kept our staff busy today. We can't wait to start 2nd semester! School resumes Wednesday, January 3.
One of the best events our Elsberry FFA and FFA Alumni do for our littles! Make sure you don't miss it.

Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Gomel generously donated all cash profits from the book fair back to our students through the Friends of Elsberry Literacy. The Friends of Elsberry Literacy is fully funded by donations and 100% of the money goes to free books for all students in the Elsberry R-2 School District. The mission is to get books into every household. Thank you for supporting the book fair to make this possible!

You pay the face value for the gift card (no extra expense to you) and our school earns the percentage listed next to the gift card. Order forms were sent home with students and will be available in all three building offices. We will also accept orders from community members. All orders and payment are due by Thursday, December 14 with delivery on Wednesday, December 20. Thank you for your support!

Don't forget to make plans to attend the annual Holiday Concert! Treblemakers Honor Choir and students in grades K-3 will be participating in the show.
Mrs. Heras said of course, students can wear anything to the concert, but if they'd like to be a little more creative, here is an idea for each grade level. Kindergartners could wear green or dress like a Christmas tree. 1st graders could wear antlers or dress like a reindeer. 2nd graders could wear red and white or dress like a candy cane. 3rd graders could wear white or dress like a snowflake. Treblemakers students should wear white tops and black bottoms. See you at the show!
