The Little Indians Cheer Clinic is on February 11, 2023 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Students in preschool through sixth grade are invited to participate. During this clinic your child will learn a cheer, jumps, and a crowd involvement cheer that your child will perform at halftime of the JV Girls game on Monday, February 13. The cost of the clinic is $35.00 and all checks can be made out to Elsberry R-II. With this cost your child will receive a t-shirt and bow that they will need to wear the night of the game. They will also get a snack and drink the day of the clinic. Please fill out the form below and turn it in with the clinic cost to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
No late forms will be accepted - we are not ordering extra bows or t-shirts. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at rturner@elsberry.k12.mo.us. Thank you for your continuous support of Elsberry High Cheer!
It's cold outside! Our goal is to get children outside daily as long as the temperature is safe. However, students do need a winter coat. A hoodie is not a substitute for a coat during the winter. If your family needs assistance with a winter coat please email Ms. Shipley, elementary secretary, kshipley@elsberry.k12.mo.us or call ext. 215.
Evaluate Day is Friday, January 13. Our students are pa-jammin' into the new year! Please join us in wearing your favorite pajamas or comfy clothes.
Happy New Year! We are looking forward to seeing our students back at school on Tuesday, January 3.
We are very thankful that our school has been sponsored by the Adopt-a-Classroom project organized by Jessica Broyles-Boedeker and Megan Lavy. All students in preschool through 4th grade received a wrapped book this week. Pictured are Kenzie and Kendyl, delivering the gifts.
Mrs. Ross knew cookies were going to be the answer last week. Her students baked and decorated cookies in class. The best part after following all the directions was eating the cookies.
Congratulations to Mrs. Conner's 1st grade class for winning the 25 days of Christmas food collection. Her class donated 223. They will be celebrating their victory with a milk and cookie party. In total the food drive collected 1,568 items for our NHS Buddy Bag program. Thank you Mrs. Speers for organizing this service learning project with your class.
Happy Grinch Day!

The elementary will once again be ordering gift cards as a fundraiser this holiday season. If you are new to this program, it couldn't be simpler. You order gift cards through us and we receive a percentage of the order as a kickback. It's really a win-win situation! Less shopping for you and fundraising dollars for us. Hard copies are also available in the elementary office. Orders and payment are due by December 13 for delivery before Christmas break.
Last week we were honored to present yet another tremendous holiday program. Mrs. Jenny Lynn Heras leads the kindergarten through third grade classes as well as the Treblemakers Honor Choir. Treblemakers is an honor choir composed of students in fourth through sixth grade. If you see her out in the community, please let her know how blessed our school is to have her talent.
If you need some extra Christmas spirit you can watch it on YouTube.
Thank you Mrs. Reller for creating the live stream of the concert that is posted at the link below. There are also more photos on Facebook. Enjoy!
