The Children’s Literature Festival was hosted on Truman University's campus in Kirksville on April 12. The event featured 10 authors and one illustrator sharing their books with 4th, 5th and 6th grade students. Students were able to meet authors and get autographs. Thanks Mrs. Wilson for organizing this field trip.

Ms. Yates brought her mom to school! Her mom stopped by to read to her class. She read the book Pink & Say by Patricia Polacco. Mrs. Yates loves to keep students engaged in her stories by being silly and asking questions.
