The goal is to have students actively listen and respond to their peers, learn responsibility and accountability as they prepare for each seminar, and to maintain ownership of their learning.

Elsberry traveled to the Fulton Invitational on Saturday with twenty-nine schools competing.
The EHS varsity boys continued their fine season with a third-place finish. Dashaun Dodson finished in fourth place in a talented field of 142 runners. Also earning medals for the Indians were Nolan Wilson (16th place), and Jedidiah Heras (22nd). Strong races by Ezekiel Byers (60th), Noah Hausgen (62nd), and Judah Byers (94th) completed the team scoring for the running Indians. Dodson, who is being recruited by college programs, and Wilson also medaled at Fulton in 2021. This year, Heras turned in the third-fastest time among freshmen running in the varsity race.
Medaling for the EHS varsity girls was Ellie Hartley who finished in twenty-first place in a strong field of 128 runners. Hartley finished in the top five of all freshmen girls competing in varsity competition.
Chloe Howard and Ali Hausgen competed in the junior varsity race for EHS. Both earned medals with Howard finishing eighth and Hausgen running thirteenth.

Mr. Andrew Perry has been teaching for a total of 19 years, with 12 of those being at EHS. His favorite tradition is celebrating 3/14 (Pi Day) with my students.

Please help us welcome Greg Pflasterer to our school district. He works in both the middle and high school buildings. You will also see him helping out during the middle school girls basketball season.

Our EHS boys’ varsity cross country team placed 1st today at Linn! Way to represent!
